It is charged to promote a ministry of hospitality within our parish community, educate our parishioners that they be made aware of what is being celebrated and why, encourage active participation by parishioners in word, song and gesture, and prayerfully prepare liturgical celebrations. The Adult Choir enhances our liturgies with beautiful music on the 2nd and 4th Sundays at the 10.30 a.m. Mass The Eucharistic Ministers, by authority of Vatican II, carry Holy Communion to sick and shut-in members of the parish on designated Sundays. They also assist in the distribution of Holy Communion at Sunday Mass. The Lector/Leaders lead the congregation during the Mass and proclaim the Word of God. Lay volunteers offer gifts at the Offertory of the Mass, Ushers assist the congregation and take collections and Altar Servers assist the Priest in the celebration of Mass.

Our Service to One Another

The Finance Committee oversees the parish finances, and has responsibility, with the pastor, to keep the parish financially viable. It provides an accounting yearly of income and disbursement activity to parishioners. The Pro-Life Committee works to educate our community that human life is sacred. Its members also join pro-life groups in other parishes to participate in prayer and peaceful demonstrations, publicly declaring their commitment to respect life.

Our Social Activities

Activities Committee plans social activities for the parish: Thanksgiving Bake Sale, Winter/Summer picnic, Baked Ziti Dinner. Dances are also held at various times during the year, and bus trips are planned for parishioners and their friends.
